RILINK Staff are available to present hands-on workshops for the following web based tools at the request of school librarians, individual schools, or the district.
Virtual sessions may be requested as well. Requests must be made at least one week in advance and confirmed within 48 hours of receiving approval from a RILINK staff member. RILINK requests notification of cancelation at least 24 hours in advance.
These tools and training sessions are designed for school library media specialists and the teachers with whom they collaborate in support of student achievement.
LibGuides CMS and LibWizard training is available for library staff only. Initial trainings are three hours. The length of follow up sessions will be determined in collaboration with the requesting district/school.
The workshops are part of member benefits and are offered at no additional charge to the districts or schools.
Workshops may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. Specific times can be requested through the booking form. Thirty minute increments are available for scheduling purposes, not as a suggested session length. Please consider the goal of the session when booking the time frame.
Sessions for the 2019-2020 school may be booked beginning August 19, 2019. Sessions may be booked though December 31, 2019. To request a date outsite of those time frames, please email Sharon Webster.
