Learn how school librarians are using the new RI School Library Curriculum Guide to create lessons, develop standards based curriculum, and advocate for their school library program. These important and relevant standards: inquiry and design thinking, media and information literacy, digital citizenship and civic responsibility, and social and emotional growth are aligned to the AASL National School Library Standards. Participants will come away with lesson ideas, access to a lesson plan template, and confidence in their ability to develop a high quality, accessible and equitable school library curriculum.
