Do you use genre labels in your library? Do you want to genrefy your library collection or have you already done so?  Do you organize books by reading level or use labels to identify reading levels? The new American Association of School Libraries has released a new statement on labeling practices  along with the AASL Position Statement on Labeling Practices that qualifies their previous direction in shelving practices in school libraries and has made some members rethink the way they are organizing books in their libraries for the ease of their students.
